A frozen army

Having 4 kids with many, many teachers makes Holiday gifts a bit pricey. I know, I know, teachers say they don't want or need gifts, but we still like to acknowledge all that they do throughout the year. We've discovered food is always fun (last year we did 8x8 pans and a bag of home-made Magic Fudge mix - tasty and creative!)

This year, I found a cute project online and I bought the stuff well before the holidays, although we didn't actually start the project until December. We made 17 "Frosty the Doorstop" figures. It was quite the family affair - Nathan and James painted them white, Abby and I made the scarves (mostly Abby actually!) and I glued everything together and pained the details.

Here is our fleet, waiting to be distributed to Woodland Elementary, The Goddard School of Brooklyn Park, and two for Grandma Dorothy and Grandma Carole.
